LuLaRoe

We probably all know someone with these crazy designed cotton leggings. LuLaRoe is known for their brightly colored designs, but their selling tactics have caused some sellers into bankruptcy.

With this MLM they make you buy their products and then you sell what you have bought from the company. They try to market their company on you get to buy the product at wholesale price then you sell it to your friends and family at retail value.

The sellers have to buy at least $5,000 dollars of product, and they don’t get to choose the designs. Along with a large inventory they are supposed to recruit even more people to sell causing an oversaturation of the market.

Monat

Monat is a hair product MLM. The sellers will show off their long luscious hair claiming these products have done wonders to their hair.

The issue with Monat is that their hair products claim the ingredients are safe to use but the FDA has been investigating their products since consumers have claimed their hair has been falling out as well as leaving nasty rashes.

This could be in part to the fact their factories are not up to sanitary standards and products are consistently being cross-contaminated.
